2. Bookings and Payments
2.1 Booking Process: All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Across The Map and payment has been received as specified in your booking confirmation.
2.2 Payment Terms: Payment terms vary by adventure and will be specified in your booking confirmation. Generally, a deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due before departure. Payment methods accepted include credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods as specified.
2.3 Pricing: All prices are quoted in the currency specified and are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed. Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, changes in government fees or taxes, or changes in accommodation or activity providers.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Client Cancellations: Cancellation terms vary by adventure and will be detailed in your booking confirmation. Generally, cancellations made more than 90 days before departure may receive a partial refund, minus administrative fees. Cancellations made within 90 days of departure may result in forfeiture of deposit and additional cancellation fees.
3.2 Operator Cancellations: Across The Map reserves the right to cancel any adventure due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, we will offer alternative dates or a full refund, but will not be liable for additional costs such as flights or other expenses.
3.3 Refund Processing: Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 30 business days using the original payment method.
